AIZWAL: The Serchhip Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), recovered three AK-56 rifles, three empty magazines and 2,30,000 in Myanmar currency at Zote in Mizoram on Friday, stated a release. The operation was carried out by a team of Assam Rifles and Customs Department, Champhai District based on specific information. The three AK-56 rifles with three empty magazines were wrapped in a red cloth.
