MIZORAM: The Assam Rifles recovered 5.1 kg Marijuana worth Rs. 3.06 lakh in General Area Hiangmun village, Saitual District on Thursday. The operation was carried out by a combined team of the Aizawl Battalion and Ngopa Police Station, Saitual District, based on specific information. The team recovered the consignment from a hidden dump on the outskirts of Hiangmun Village.
The recovered consignment was handed over to Ngopa Police Station, Saitual District, Mizoram, on Thursday for further legal proceedings, stated a press release.
