MIZORAM: The Aizawl Battalion of Headquarters 23 Sector Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), carried out a felicitation ceremony on Friday for the young boys of Aizawl who have finally cleared the written exam of the Agniveer Scheme under the General Duty category. It is pertinent to know that the Assam Rifles conducted pre-recruitment training for physical and written exams for aspirants from different villages in Aizawl from October 25, 2022, to January 7, 2023, at Zokhawsang. After completing preliminary documentation at the Army Recruitment Office in Aizawl, individuals will report to the Assam Regiment Center in Shillong, Meghalaya, and the Armoured Corporation Center in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, on February 24 for basic military training, stated a press release.
