NGOs' meet organized by HQ 23 Assam Rifles Sector at Aizawl

A NGOs’ interactive session was organized by Assam Rifles Sector at Aizawl with an aim to foster greater synergy, enhanced cooperation and unhindered coordination between various NGOs in the State of Mizoram and Assam Rifles for the larger benefit of the society.

AIZAWL: A NGOs' interactive session was organized by Assam Rifles Sector at Aizawl with an aim to foster greater synergy, enhanced cooperation and unhindered coordination between various NGOs in the State of Mizoram and Assam Rifles for the larger benefit of the society.

10 Office Bearers of the prominent NGOs of the State such as Central Young Mizo Association (CYMA) and Mizo Student Union (MSU) attended the meet and inclined themselves with the overall aim of the same.

The newly elected Presidents of CYMA, Lalngheta and MSU, Muanzuala gave their views, thoughts and analysis on various avenues of coordination and cooperation between the armed forces and general public and also emphasised recent trend of Mizo boys joining the Uniformed Service and increasing influx of Myanmar nationals and the support extended by them.

The subject event culminated with a cake cutting ceremony jointly by the Presidents and DIG, Brigadier Digvijay Singh, SM symbolising the joint affirmation of NGOs and Assam Rifles with respect to increased degree of assistance to each other in ensuring prosperity and growth of people of Mizoram.
