Kohima: A 3-year-old girl Lipavi on Thursday showed up alone at Hebolimi Health and Wellness Center with masked up. She had common cold symptoms the previous night but since her parents had left for the field, she decided to come all by herself for a checkup at the health and wellness center where she was attended to by the Community Health Officer (CHO).
The medical staffs at Hebolimi HWC were in for a pleasant surprise as the 3-year-old girl visited by herself with a mask.

Sharing the image and praising the girl, Benjamin Yepthomi, State President of BJYM, Nagaland tweeted, The medical staff were in for a pleasant surprise when 3-year old Miss Lipavi,showed up at the health centre. She reportedly had cold symptoms but since her parents had left for the paddy field,she decided to come all by herself for a checkup at the health center."
On Thursday, Nagaland's COVID-19 caseload mounted to 22,240 as 268 more people tested positive for the infection. The death toll rose to 404 as five more patients – four in Dimapur and one in Phek- succumbed to the disease. Of the fresh cases, 51 were reported from Dimapur, 43 from Kohima and 24 from Tuensang. The remaining new cases were registered in several other districts.
State Nodal Officer for Integrated Disease Surveillance Project Dr Nyanthung Kikon said in health department bulletin that at least 284 more people were cured of the disease during the day, taking the total number of recoveries to 16,489. Of the 404 fatalities, 13 had comorbidities.
