Funded by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and ardently supported by Nagaland Tourism, this spectacular event is orchestrated by imagi.NATION, with Managing Director Elivino Seleyi at the helm. The festival promises an array of experiences, including live music concerts, delectable food stalls, a kid's carnival, art installations, a book corner, a photobooth, and more.

The inaugural program kicks off at 1:00 pm on the first day, followed by a full-day affair on the second day, commencing at 10:00 am and culminating at 10:00 pm.

Seleyi shared the thrilling lineup for the live shows. On November 24, Coffee & Rovi, Big Dane, Brahmos Orange, and Abdon Mech will set the stage ablaze. The following day will feature Domik, ZT Slingshot, Papersky, The Gluttones, and Trance Effect. Daily live shows commence at 5:00 pm. The entry ticket is attractively priced at Rs 50 per visitor.

Toka E Tuccumi, Deputy Director of Nagaland Tourism, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Tourism for their support. He highlighted that this Food & Music festival is an official prelude to the iconic Hornbill Festival, a first-of-its-kind celebration in Nagaland.

Excitingly, specific food stalls representing the diverse culinary heritage of Sumi, Ao, Lotha, and Chakhesang communities will be featured. Tuccumi emphasized the promotion of local artists, fostering a vibrant cultural exchange.

As the Prelude to Hornbill Festival builds anticipation, it sets the stage for the grand Hornbill Festival, scheduled from December 1 to 10. This immersive experience promises to be a cultural extravaganza, intertwining the rich tapestry of Nagaland's traditions with the pulsating beats of music and the tantalizing aromas of its diverse cuisine.
