Nagaland registers 11 more COVID-19 positive cases, total 743

Out of 310 samples examined, 11 more COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in the Northeast Indian state

Guwahati: Amid another surge in the number of Covid 19 cases, Nagaland has confirmed 11 more fresh cases of the virus on Saturday, July 11. With these latest detections, the number of active patients in the state has risen to 439, while recoveries stand at 304.

It has been confirmed that out of the 11 latest cases in the state, 7 patients are from Kohima, 3 cases are from Mon, and a single platient is from Mokokchung.

"Out of 310 samples tested, 11 more positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed", Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom wrote in a tweet moments earlier.

Meanwhile, India's COVID-19 tally touched 8,20,916 with the biggest single-day increase of 27,114, the latest data from the Union Health Ministry shows. The country also witnessed 519 deaths during the period, taking the total number of death count to 22,123.
