Workshop on food processing industries organized in Kohima

KOHIMA: The Union Ministry of Food Processing Industries, along with the Nagaland Government, organized a seminar-cum-workshop on CSS- Pradhan Mantri Formalization of micro food processing industries at the Vamuzo Memorial Hall in Chozuba under the Phek district on Wednesday.

According to DIPR, Nagaland, General Manager of DIC (Chozuba), Cholzo Sophie spoke on the topic 'PMFE: Aims & Objectives, Processes & Procedures'. Inspector of Industries & District Resource Person, Kezhaletuo Khruomo spoke on 'Support to Food Processing Unit and Eligibility Criteria'. Inspector of Industries & District Resource Person, Wekhrope Akami moderated and highlighted 'Modalities and Sharing of Portal details and How to Apply'. Designated Officer (Food Safety), Peterson Pongener spoke on 'Food Safety and FSSAI Registration'. Lead District Manager (Phek), Biplab Thakuria talked about "Banking Modalities and Processing of Applications in the Banks'.

Chairperson of CWWS (Eche Hilly Food Products), Nezelu Nyekha spoke on 'Experience Sharing on Food Processing'.
