Jetshen Dohna From Sikkim Lifts The Trophy Of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champ

Along with the trophy she also won an amount of Rs 10 lakh cash prize.

GANGTOK : A news of pride arrives for the Northeast, as Jetshen Dohna from Sikkim lifts the trophy of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs season 9. Nine year old Jetshen Dohna Lama from Pakyong won Zee tv's most popular singing reality show on 22nd of January, Sunday. 

Along with the trophy she also won an amount of Rs 10 lakh cash prize. This time audience got to witness a new panel of judges including Shankar Mahadevan, Neeti Mohan and Anu Malik. Jetshen defeat Harsh Sikandar and Dhyaneshwari Gadage in the finale.

India's top comedian Bharti Singh hosted the show with all ingredients of joy and laughter. The Sikkim girl received ample amount of love from both the judges and audience throughout her journey in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. The finalists of the singing reality show this year were Rafa Yasmin, Atanu Mishra and Atharva Bakshi.

Jetshen was called 'mini Sunidhi Chauhan' by sensational Shankar Mahadevan. The lil champ pursued her career in music from the age of three. The young girl made the CM of Sikkim and champion Mary Kom proud with her victory.

During the show, Jetshen's singing was well appreciated by the jury, celebrity guests and judges. The winner expressed gratitude towards her mentors, who polished her helped her in the entire journey. Jetshen stated, 'I am taking bundle full of memories with me and looking forward to my new singing journey'.

She also mentioned that the show was not an easy nut to crack as all the contestants were equally talented. The judges also congratulated her for the win, and termed her singing as 'versatile'. The finale was graced by superstar Jackie Shroff, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap along with music director Amit Trivedi.
