Agartala: In a bid to disseminate the message that the BJP is a party with a difference, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb cited his own instance and some others including the Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Jogi Adityanath and said this party always evaluates the contributions of the workers.
Addressing a meeting of the fish traders, the Chief Minister went out of the way and apparently tried to send a message to dissident MLA Sudip Roy Barman who was recently sacked from the Cabinet. He said many used to think of themselves as leaders, but the party selected one Chief Minister who is dedicated to the party and the cause of the people. Similar things happened in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam and many other places, he said.
