AGARTALA: Expressing confidence in the BJP for the upcoming Assembly election in Tripura, Union Home Minister Amit Shah claims that all the efforts made by PM Narendra Modi towards tribal people in the region will return back to the party in the form enormous votes.
Shah stated on Monday that, no opposition could stand before the people when it comes to casting votes. Notably, BJP will contest the upcoming election for 55 candidates in Tripura.
Amit Shah initiated a road show rally in the state, and later had a chat with media where he expressed much confidence upon the saffron party. He also tweeted regarding the same on Monday. Slamming the Tipra Motha party, Shah claimed that, until now, no conspiracy or prior setting has worked when it comes to voting by general public. All the efforts and work done by Modi government for the tribal in NE will come back to the party in the form of votes, he added.
Amit Shah asserted that, no other administration could work for the tribals as much as Modi government has done till date. He mentions about availability of electricity, water and homes for the tribal backwards been provided by Modi administration.
''We have offered them free rations and health insurance, the Tribal's love is with us'', Amit Shah stated. The voting process in Tripura will be held on 16th of February, and the count will take place on 2nd of March.
On Monday, Amit Shah tweeted, '' The Congress and communists have done a great injustice to the tribal society during decades of their rule. PM Modi led BJP govt has provided them with toilets, gas and pure drinking water and also gave the tribals their rights.''
Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee along with Abhishek Banerjee, TMCs national general secretary arrived in Tripura on Monday, following the upcoming elections. Both the leaders are scheduled to reside in the state for two days. On Monday, the duo was scheduled to visit the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple and on Tuesday, they will join a road show rally in the state.
