AGARTALA: Tripua Cricket Association announced on Wednesday that former South African all-rounder Lance Klusener will take over as Tripura's cricket operations head for the forthcoming season.

Timir Chanda, vice president of the TCA, announced that Klusener would travel to the state capital on Saturday to interact with cricketers there on their overall development.

As he has not yet signed the contract, his precise position was not made public. Along with managing the Ranji squad, the 51-year-old will oversee the state's eight teams in the men's and women's categories across a range of age levels. For the first 20 days, Klusener will be here to supervise and direct the players.
