AGARTALA: Tripura Chief Minister
Biplab Kumar Deb on Monday has claimed that the state has witnessed massive
progress in development work soon after the BJP government formed in the state
in 2018.
Deb went to visit the Kailasahar sub-division of Unakoti district to address a rally of his party where around 2, 357 voters from 795 families joined BJP leaving CPIM, Congress, and TIPRA. Sources from the party have said that after 2018 no such joining programme was held in the state but since August 24 this year 8, 357 people have joined the saffron party.
Chief minister claimed that before 2018 no such developmental work was done in the state by taking suggestions from people but the BJP is taking suggestions from the people.
"With proper management, the government is working on a priority basis to open up new opportunities of income resulting to promotion and expansion of the potential aspects in the state", Deb said.
He however claimed that in the past political colour used to decide who will receive what but now everything is being achieved without movement.
"However, political leaders in the past chased dreams to achieve 'Swarna Yug' (golden age) for decades, but failed while the Prime Minister has shown the implementation of the 'HIRA' model as promised in just two years", said Chief Minister.
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said that to regain lost political ground CPIM has attempted to plunge Tripura into lawlessness. In a tweet, CM Deb has said that after the formation of the BJP government in Tripura, the state has seen all-around peace and prosperity. "For past 3 years, Tripura has seen all-round peace & prosperity with radical improvements in law & order situation. Political opposition led by CPM has been rattled by this. In their desperation to regain lost political ground, they attempted to plunge Tripura into lawlessness", Deb wrote in his Twitter.
