Tripura: Dead Body of Homeless Person Recovered

AGARTALA: The recovery of the dead body of a homeless person from Rajnagar village falling under the jurisdiction of the Kadamtala Police Station in the North Tripura district of Tripura triggered panic among the local people on Monday night

According to police sources, the vagrant used to live somewhere in the market area of the village for a long time. And the body was recovered from a house located in the market area. The police took custody of the dead body and sent the same to the Kadamtala Community Health Centre. They sent the body for performing the necessary post-mortem procedures and started an investigation regarding the incident.

In a different incident, the body of a young man from Assam was recovered near the railway tracks in Visakhapatnam under mysterious circumstances. According to sources, the victim was identified as as Junaram Bora of Nonoi in the Nagaon district of the state. Junaram Bora had boarded a train from Guwahati on Friday to go towards Hyderabad for employment. But two days later, his family members received a call from the local police mentioning that his dead body was found near the railway tracks in Visakhapatnam.

The members of the family have alleged that he was doing well on Friday when he boarded the train. But two days later they received a call regarding his death. They alleged that Junaram Bora was murdered and requested the state government to look into the matter. The family members also appealed to the government for financial assistance so that they could bring the body back home to conduct the last rites.

Recently an unidentified body of a man was recovered in Nabeel of Toudhanga in Jamugurihat of Assam. The body was recovered near the railway track in the region. According to the police, the dead body was discovered in a drain located between National Highway Number 15 and the railway track by the local people.
