Ahead of the Assam Assembly elections next year, disagreement and difference of opinion seems to be brewing between the older generation of BJP workers and the newer, younger lot. According to reports coming in from West Karbi Anglong after Kapili and Amri constituencies, differences are appearing among the BJP workers in No 9 Amreng constituency and several of them are revolting. A rally was organised by the workers and younger leaders of No 9 Amreng constituency who shouted slogans against Radeep Ranghang, district President of West Karbi Anglong and Rina Terangpi, people's representative of Amreng constituency. BJP workers have levelled charges of mal-practice and corruption by these two leaders while selecting people for the formation of booth committees, Yuva Morcha and Mahila Morcha. Allegations have been levelled saying that they are not including local BJP leaders and workers in these committees and Morchas which is leaving a certain section of BJP workers and leaders upset.
