Assam Petrochemicals Limited (APL's) vice chairmen Bikul Deka visited the ongoing Methanol Project at Namrup on Sunday. The APL's Methanol project is one of the few profit-making PSU's of the state that will have the capacity to produce 500 metric tonne of Methanol once it becomes operational.
Deka who was accompanied by APL managing director Ratul Bordoloi expressed his confidence that the civil and mechanical works of the new project will be completed by June 2021. He further said that the once the project comes active, it will open up attractive employment avenues for the youths.
