Contractor M P Agarwala has been allegedly involved in irregularities in the construction of a PWD road in Hatisingmari of Mancachar. The contractor had used low quality bitumen over the road which got weared off. The Government had sanctioned Rs 2.5 crore for the construction of the road. Local residents have been irked by the incident and spoken to the media about the irregularities.
