The organisers of a Chhath puja event in Kherni Chariali Shiv Mandir Puja Samity ran into trouble with obscenity charges in cultural program organized by them on 31st October night. Chhath Puja was celebrated here with the other parts of the country from 24th to 27th October. The organizers invited hundreds of devotees on the celebration & on 31st October they organized a cultural function at Gandhi Vidyapith Hindi School premises. Later, to entertain the crowd, the organizers invited the dancers on stage. But, allegedly the lady dancer from Bihar wore indecent clothes and performed obscene acts to entertain the crowd that also comprised minors, women & elders. After such type of odd performance negative consequence allegedly came from the people of the locality.
