Weightlifter Sidhant Gogoi from Sonari, Assam bagged a silver medal at the Junior Asian Weightlifting Championship in Uzbekistan.
Gogoi bagged the silver medal in the men's weightlifting 61 kg category.
The weightlifter had lifted a total weight of 259 kg.
Recently, weightlifter Gogoi won several medals at the Khelo India Youth Games in Guwahati.
