An Awareness meeting was organized at Nagrijulie , Goabari under Tamulpur Subdivision under the aegis of All Assam Bengali Youth Federation (ABYF) along with All Assam Gorkha Students union (AAGSU). The organizations urged all to remain calm and not take law in their hands so that no innocent person becomes victim of fake news circulated in social media. Citing the incident of Karbi Anglong lynching, the student bodies appealed the people in future to hand over to Police instead.
