Champak, a youth from Dhemesi Haldibari village of Moran area died under mysterious circumstances at the Assam Medical College and Hospital in Dibrugarh on Friday. On April 17 the deceased had gone to visit his father-in-law's home and on Thursday he was admitted to the hospital with serious burn injuries. The youth's mother had filed an FIR at the Khowang police station accusing the girl's family of murdering her son. On March 13th Champak had eloped with the girl and got married.
