GUWAHATI: Assam finished at 12 places in the 37th National Games which concluded in Goa on Thursday. Assam altogether collected 56 medals in this edition of the Games which included 14 gold, 20 silver and 22 bronze. This time Assam participated in 27 disciplines and managed to win medals from 14 of them. Meanwhile two medal contenders Hridoy Hazarika and Chayanika Gogoi failed to make the podium finish on the final day of the Games. Hridoy participated in the shooting and Chayanika in cycling.
