5th Meghalaya Games: East Khasi Hills shine in golf event

The Golf discipline of the 5th Meghalaya Games was successfully conducted by Meghalaya Golf Promoters Society (MGPS) and Tura Golfers Association in association with Meghalaya State Olympic Association, Border Security Force and Government of Meghalaya at Durama Golf Course, BSF Campus, Tura on a strokeplay format over 36 holes.

SHILLONG: The Golf discipline of the 5th Meghalaya Games was successfully conducted by Meghalaya Golf Promoters Society (MGPS) and Tura Golfers Association in association with Meghalaya State Olympic Association, Border Security Force and Government of Meghalaya  at Durama Golf Course, BSF Campus, Tura on a strokeplay format over 36 holes.

East Khasi Hills became the most successful team with 12 medals including 4 gold and 4 silver medals while West Garo Hills lifted 4 medals including 2 gold medals.

Anil Ram Bihari (Professionals), Jonathan Iawphniaw (Amateurs), Gaurav Bajaj (Mid Amateurs) and Ooma Tewari Tariang (Ladies) won gold medals for East Khasi Hills. This is stated in a release.
