GUWAHATI: Assam thrashed Sikkim by 100 runs in the Mushtaq Ali T20 Cricket in Mumbai today. Electing to bat, Assam scored 217-5 in their 20 overs. Captain Riyan Parag (53no, 4X2, 6X4) and opener Denish Das (63, 4X7, 6X4) scored half centuries. Earlier opener Rishav Das (47, 4X8) also played a good knock and the opening wicket partnership between him and Danish produced 115 runs in just 9.5 overs. In reply Sikkim bowled out 117 in 19.1 overs. Avinav Choudhury bagged 3- 13 and Sunil Lachit picked up 2-32. Sumit Singh (32) was the top scorer for Sikkim.
