GUWAHATI: Assam team, composed of Apratim Gogoi and Proyas Protim Bharadwaj, won silver medal in the Men’s doubles event in the 39th All India Postal Table Tennis tournament in Vijaywada on Sunday. The duo lost the final to Pritam Bose and Akash Nath of West Bengal 0-3.
In the team event also Assam won a silver medal losing the final to Bengal. The five members of Assam team that faced Bengal in the final, were Kaushik Kumar Phukan, Parash Pratim Boruah, Apratim Gogoi, Radheshyam Sahu and Proyas Protim Bharadwaj.
