Assam's Prantor Baruah selected as golf referee in National Games

The golf tournament, which is introduced for the first time in National Games, will start from October 6 in Ahmedabad.

DIBRUGARH: Prantor Baruah, an internationally certified golf referee from Assam, has been selected by Indian Olympic Association as Technical & Rules Official (referee) for the 36th National Games (Golf). The golf event, which is introduced for the first time in National Games, will start from October 6 in Ahmedabad.

Baruah, who successfully cleared R & A's International Rules examination in Japan in the year 2016, is an International Golf Referee and Golf Tournament Administrator. Baruah also holds the prestigious position as Tournament Director of Indian Golf Union.
