BIRMINGHAM: India men's team played out a 4-4 draw against England in Commonwealth Games in Birmingham on Monday. India were cruising at 3-0 at the halfway stage. However, England made full use of the man-advantage in the second half as first Varun Kumar and then Gurjant got heavy suspensions for indiscipline. From 4-1 around the 47th minute mark, India conceded three goals in next to no time and by the time final whistle was blown; most of the Indian players were simply relieved. This was the second match for India in the 2022 Commonwealth Games in England. In the first match, India defeated Ghana by 11-0 on Sunday.
