GUWAHATI: Maharashtra defeated Assam by 3 wickets in the Senior Women T20 Cricket at Surat today. Assam were restricted to 111-3 in 20 overs and Maharashtra chased the target in 18.5 overs losing 7 wickets. Nirupama Baro (4-7) from Assam bowled well in the innings.
Among the batters of Assam Monikha Das (21), Hiramoni Saikia (22), Uma Chetry (29 no) and Rashmi Dey (23 no) were the major contributors.
