Mumbai defeated Assam by 10 wickets in the Senior Women T20 Cricket at Ranchi today. Chasing 64 runs to win Assam reached the target in just 5.1 overs without losing a wicket. Earlier Invited to bat Assam scored 63-8 in their 20 overs. Ruhina Pegu (16) and Uma Chetri (11) were the two batters who made double figures score.
In the last group league match Assam will face Haryana on April 24.
Meanwhile Nagaland, J & K and Sikkim won their respective matches in the competition held at ACA stadium and Amingaon ground in the city today. Sikkim, at the ACA stadium, defeated Arunachal Pradesh by 54 runs. At the Amingaon stadium J & K beat Pondicherry by 8 runs. In another game at ACA Stadium, Nagaland won against Mizoram by 6 runs.
