New Delhi: Senior sports journalist Boria Majumdar has responded to the allegations levelled against him by Indian wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha and alleged that Saha "doctored and tampered" the screenshots of his WhatsApp messages.

In a bid to explain, that how Saha tempered Watsapp's messages screenshot, Majumdar took to the micro-blogging Twitter and posted a video on Saturday night, wherein, he accused Saha of blurring a few parts of the messages which he had sent to him asking for him an interview.

''There are always two sides to a story. @Wriddhipops has doctored, tampered screenshots of my WhatsApp chats which have damaged my reputation and credibility. I have requested the @BCCI for a fair hearing. My lawyers are serving @Wriddhipops a defamation notice. Let truth prevail,'' he tweeted.

Majumdar's video post came hours after Saha met the three-member committee formed by the BCCI to investigate the matter. After the meeting, during an interaction with the media persons, Saha asserted that he has shared everything with committee members Rajiv Shukla (BCCI vice-president), Arun Dhumal (BCCI treasurer) and Prabhtej Bhatia (apex council member).

Earlier on February 19, Saha tweeted a screenshot of messages from a journalist after his exclusion from the India squad for the two-Test match series against Sri Lanka.
