GUWAHATI: Double century by a batsman, 400 plus runs in the same innings in a limited over game- a very uncommon scene in city cricket. However it was witnessed at the Judges' Field here on Sunday.

Diwiz Pathak of State Cricket Academy scored a double century in Mahabir Prasad Memorial U-16 Inter Coaching Cricket. His team State Cricket Academy won the game by 410 runs, perhaps the biggest victory margin in a city cricket match.

There was a run feast at the Judges' Field today. Elected to bat, State Cricket Academy piled up massive 481-6 in 40 overs, undoubtedly one of the highest totals in a local cricket match.

Diwiz played just 97 balls to score 219 runs. He scored 100 runs from boundaries and another 90 through over boundaries. His teammate Varun Jajodia (104 runs, 64 balls, 4×10, 6×4) also scored century in the match. In reply Lokhra Cricket Academy bowled out 71 in 21.4 overs.
