NEW DELHI: The fantasy sports gaming site Dream11 has been named the primary sponsor of the Indian squad by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The agreement between Dream11 and the BCCI is for three years.
Education portal Byju's will be replaced as Team India's primary sponsor by Dream11; Byju's left following the conclusion of the last financial cycle, and BCCI had requested sealed bids for a replacement.
Beginning with the Test Series against the West Indies, the team's first assignment in the ICC World Test Championship 2023–25 cycle, Dream11 will be visible on the Indian Team's uniforms.
In 2019, Byju's took Oppo's place as the team's sponsor, and the two parties agreed to a three-year extension through 2022. The educational app extended its deal until 2023, after which Dream 11, one of the world's most well-known fantasy platforms, would take over.
