LONDON: England named an unchanged squad for the first Test against Pakistan after winning their three-match series against the West Indies 2-1 to retain the Wisden Trophy.

England lost the first Test against the Windies but came back to win the next two in convincing fashion with Stuart Broad claiming his 500th Test scalp in the third Test which ended on Tuesday. "After three Tests in quick succession against the West Indies, we now turn to an equally condensed Test series against Pakistan, with 15 days of Test cricket scheduled in a three-week period," National Selector Ed Smith said as quoted by ECB official website.
