Former WWE Star Scott Hall Aka Razor Ramon Passes Away At 63

The American professional wrestler Scott Hall suffered from three heart attacks on Saturday and was kept on life support before he passed away on Monday.

New Delhi: The two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall, the trailblazing wrestler, who played iconic heel Razor Ramon during the 1990s died at the age of 63 on Monday 14 March.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, the World Wrestling Entertainment shared a statement, wherein, they said that WWE is disheartened with the sudden demise of 2 times WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall.

They further paid heartfelt condolences to the family members, diehard fans and friends of Hall, the wrestling legend.

The professional wrestler died after suffering from three heart attacks on March 13 as informed by wrestling blog PW Torch.

The wrestling blog further, while sharing the information about the condition of Hall, said that Hall has undergone hip replacement surgery after he fell down at the beginning of March this year.

Hall's longtime closed friend and ex-tag team partner Kevin Nash said on Sunday night Hall was about to take off life support.

On Sunday late night, Nash the wrestling faction New World Order in World Championship Wrestling gave the confirmation over the death of Hall in an Instagram post.

In 1992, Scott Oliver Hall gained recognition in WWE as the Cuban-American character of Razor Ramon known worldwide.

He was mostly regarded as The Bad Guy, who is cool and gold chain wearing heel that carried a toothpick in his mouth for most of the time.

Hall was honoured with the International Championship four times for his excellent performances. Later after 4 years, he joined World Championship Wrestling (WCW) along with Hogan and Nash and played a character in the TV quarrel between the two companies.

The wrestler has won various championships several times including WCW World Tag Team Championship for 7 times, WCW World Television Championship and US Heavy Weight Championship two times.

His tenure with the World Wrestling Federation as Razor Ramon brought immense success and popularity for him.

People from the wrestling fraternity including the present and ex-wrestlers took to Twitter to express their grief over the demise of Hall and paid condolences to the family.
