Harendra Gupta’s team wins Pro-Am event of the Indian Oil SERVO Masters Golf 2023

The Pro-Am event of the Indian Oil SERVO Masters Golf 2023 was won by Chandigarh-based professional Harendra Gupta and his team.

DIGBOI: The Pro-Am event of the IndianOil SERVO Masters Golf 2023 was won by Chandigarh-based professional Harendra Gupta and his team. Harendra Gupta led his team to victory in the Pro-Am event with a total score of 57.4. Gupta’s team consisted of amateurs Pallav Borgohain (D), Grp. Capt. Nitin Rawat and Mr. Navneet Kumar Yadav. Meanwhile, Bangladeshi professional Badal Hossain’s team finished first runners-up with a total of 58.8. Badal’s team was made up of amateurs Saurav Jyoti Bayan, Srijan Chobay and Taqueer Muntakhab.

However, Jamal Hossain, another Bangladesh professional, helped his team finish second runners-up with a total of 59. The amateurs in Jamal’s team were Pallav Borgohain (Z) and Lt. Col. Amit Purty.

The Closest to the Pin contest on Hole No. 2 was won by Arun Bora. His tee shot landed 20 feet from the pin.

The Closest to the Pin contest on Hole No. 16 was won by Dr. Subha Deka. His tee shot landed one foot and nine inches from the pin.

It is evident that the constant enhancement in the prize purse with additional 20 Lakhs in two consecutive play making it to 80 Lakhs event this year in 2023 reflects the steadfast resolution and commitments of Indian Oil Corporation,Assam Oil Division towards promotion of sports events rendering an ample opportunity for local talents to play with the professionals and move further.

“The pro active role and constant mentoring of the event by the ED AOD Digboi Debajit Gogoi during the C'ship in extending the required logistic and moral support have been widely lauded”, said one of the media managers of the tournament while expressing his gratitude towards the host organization AOD Digboi.
