Ind vs Pak Match: Mohd Shami Faces Online Abuse After India lost to Pakistan

Dubai: India pacer Mohammed Shami is being subjected to online abuse following the men in blue's 10-wicket loss to Pakistan in T20 World Cup on Sunday night.

As soon as the match ended, the anguished fans took to the social media sites and passed derogatory comments on the India pacer.

Not only Shami, other Indian bowlers too were failed to put any pressure on Pakistan. Shami bowled 3.5 overs in the match and conceded 43 runs, following which one user even wrote that there are Pakistanis in Team India too.

He has said that he is being targeted because he is a Muslim. Owaisi has said that fast bowler Mohammed Shami is being targeted after yesterday's India Pakistan match. This shows how much hatred has increased in the country. There are 11 players in the team and one Muslim player is being targeted by these people. Who is spreading it?

Virender Sehwag too came in support of Shami and said that the online attack on the player is shocking.

Pakistan created history by winning the fourth match of Super 12 of T20 World Cup 2021 against India. This is the first time that Pakistan has defeated India since the start of the T20 World Cup in 2007.

Pakistan got its first win after losing 5 consecutive matches in the T20 World Cup. Playing first, India scored 151 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, chasing the target, Pakistan won the match by 10 wickets without losing a wicket. Pakistan's openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan played their innings to register a 10-wickets win.

Meanwhile, on Sunday night, two groups of students of a private engineering in Sangrur clashed.

As per the police, the students who were involved in the clash are from Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. However, according to a video which was widely shared on social media claimed that Kashmiri students were beaten up.

The video further revealed that pro-Pakistan slogans were raised before the clash.

''The two groups of students started raising slogans after the match and it led to a clash. However, the boys' hostel warden pacified them,'' several media reports qouted Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering and Technology Director Tanuja Srivastava as saying.
