New Delhi: In the first match between India and Bangladesh which held on October 4 at the National Football Stadium, in Male, Maldives, the match was drew as both the team has scored 1-1 in the SAFF Championship.

For the India vs Bangladesh match the coach of India has said announce the name of 23 man but Sandesh Jhingan, Rowllin Borges, and Ashique Kuruniyan would not be playing.
He however claimed that he has his best man who will clinch the championship.
"We cannot think about that (the missing players). We have other players here who can cover those positions. It is always difficult to replace a leader and Sandesh is one of them. We are going to miss him but we need to replace him as a team together for the 90 minutes," the coach said before the game which was held on October 4.

In this championship a total of five countries including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives and Sri Lanka would be participating.
