GUWAHATI: Indian men had to struggle to get through a gritty Nepal to book their semifinal berth in the ongoing 4th Asian Kho Kho Championship at Tamulpur on Wednesday. Indian women thrashed Bhutan in the last match of the day to advance into the last four stage.
On day 3, Indian men overcame Nepal by 18 points. At the end of two innings India scored 67 while the Nepal score was 49. In the semi finals Indian mens’ team will face Sri Lanka while Bangladesh will play against Nepal. In the women category India will clash against Bangladesh and Nepal will take on Sri Lanka. The semifinals and the final of both men and women will be played on Thursday from 11 am and it would be followed by final on the same day.
