BAMBOLIM: A dramatic equaliser in stoppage time helped Kerala Blasters rescue a point against SC East Bengal in the Indian Super League (ISL) at the GMC Stadium here on Sunday.

Earlier, Bakary Kone's own-goal in 13th minute saw East Bengal take the lead but substitute Jeakson Singh found the net in the fifth minute of injury time to deny the Kolkata giants their first win.

Both Kerala and East Bengal, targeting a first win, made four changes apiece to their starting eleven. The contest got off to an electric start with both sides keen to grab the opener from the first whistle. Although Kerala shaded possession in the first half, it was East Bengal who created better opportunities and deservedly grabbed the lead, heading into the break. IANS
