GUWAHATI: The second day of the AITA Championship Series (CS7), hosted by India Club, in the age category of Under-16, witnessed one upset each in boys and girls singles in pre-quarter stage on Tuesday. Unseeded Soni Prajapati (UP) in girls singles defeated 3rd seeded Nishtha Priya Bezboruah (Assam) by 6 -4, 6-2 while in boys singles unseeded Ritik Rout (Assam) ousted 3rd seeded Rounak Kashyap (Assam) 6-1, 3-6, 6-4. Meanwhile top seed Riyan Kashyap (Assam) easily won against Ishan Rawat (Meghalaya) 6-1, 6-1 and entered into the next round.
