GUWAHATI: The opening day of the ITF Junior Tennis Championship for boys and girls under 18 years witnessed three upsets at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex in the city today. In the boy’s singles 8th seed Samarth Sahita was ousted by Sriniketh Kannan in straight sets 6-3, 6-4. Other two upsets occurred in the girl’s singles where 4th seed Sreenidhi Balaji was ousted by unseeded Haritha Shree Venkatesh 6-3, 6-3 and 7th seed Tamanna Takoria lost to unseeded Mehak Kapoor 6-1, 6-0.
