GUWAHATI: Jananjoy Jyoti Hazarika, clocking 56:46s, claimed gold medal in 100m butterfly in the 66th National School Games in New Delhi today.
Moreover, Tiluchan Phukan grabbed silver medal in 64 kg cetegory in weightlifting (U-19). Abhishek Kashyap gave Assam third medal of the day as he came third in 48kg cetegory in taekwondo.
In boxing (U-19 Boys & Girls), Janmani Devi and Rohan Bherihar entered the semifinal to ensure medals for the State.
