GUWAHATI: The Executive Committee and Annual General Meeting of the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) were held in the city on Wednesday. The meeting was attended by president Achyuta Samanta, secretary general Anil Choudhary, vice president Sushanta Biswa Sarma, Rathin Roy Choudhury and several other office bearers. The meeting discussed various subjects related to the development of the games across the nation and others. Discussion on the preparation of the national team for the forthcoming international meets including Asian Games were also held in the meeting. It may be mentioned here that Guwahati is hosting the 71st Senior National Volleyball Championship and VFI this time decided to host the meetings here.
