AP Blues, Green Valley share points in RG Baruah Super Division Football League

GUWAHATI: RG Baruah Super Division Football League witnessed another dull encounter on Wednesday. It was the seventh match in the second leg where Assam Police Blues faced FC Green Valley. The game between the two sides ended in a goalless draw. AP Blues (13 points), placed at third place in the points table, could elevate themselves in the second spot if the side earned a victory in the match. They even created a few opportunities also but didn't succeed to convert a single one. The story was the same for FC Green Valley also. They too created a few opportunities in either half of the games but failed to open their account.

With this single point FC Green Valley collected 11 points from their nine matches and are at fifth place in points table.

Moreover, one minute silence observed to mourn the demise of former state and ASEB footballer Utpal Basumatary before the match.
