GUWAHATI: ASEBSC defeated NF Railway SC 2-0 to continue their unbeaten run as the second leg of the R. G. Baruah Super Division Football League started at the Nehru Stadium.
ASEB, who ended the first leg of the league at the top of the table with 21 points and a massive 8 points lead over second placed Sunrise AC, started the game positively and created several chances. In-form striker Jigyas Deka scored the first goal in 28th minute and increased his tally to 5 goals in the league. Dwijoraj Boro added another one in 46th minute.
Sunrise AC will face Gauhati Town Club on Friday.
