GUWAHATI: ASEBSC registered another victory in the GSA RG Baruah Super Division Football League and this time against Navajyoti Club by 3-1 at the Nehru Stadium here today. With this victory ASEBSC came close to win the title this season.
ASEBSC, now staying top of the points table, played altogether 10 matches in the competition and collected 30 points. Sunrise, placed at second place, earned 15 points from their nine outings. If they lost a single point in their remaining five Games, ASEBSC will once again take the title to their tent.
It was AESBSC who dominated in today's game and took the lead in the 25 minute. The goal was scored by Vishal Sunar. They increased the margin in the second half through Arjun Mardi (53 Minute) and Dwijoraj Boro (57minute). Jhantu Prasad returned one for Navajyoti club in the added time of the game.
