GUWAHATI: The 30th Assam Aquatic Championship got under way at the Zakir Hussain Aquatic Complex here today. The tournament was inaugurated by Nandita Gorlosa, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister of Assam. Around 500 swimmers from various parts of the State are participating in the tournament in 144 events. This time Water Polo and Diving competitions are also be the part of the meet.
