Assam bag 9 medals in National Grappling Championship held at Sonipat

GUWAHATI: Assam bagged nine medals ( 2 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze) in the 15th GFI National Grappling Championship held at Rishikul Vidyapith School , Sonipat recently. The medal winners: Gold Medals: Akom Kuken Ligu (-58 kg ), Techi Karda Tara ( -58 kg ). Silver Medal: Afrid Rahman ( -58 kg ), Manavendra Kalita (-54). Bronze Medals: Jitul Jyoti Mohonto ( -77 kg ), Krishna Kumar Chomal, Dibakar Nath (-71) , Afrid Rahman ( -58 kg ) and Hirak Jyoti Rabha.
