GUWAHATI: The 24th Assam state Yoga Championship got under way at the Tarun Ram Phukan Indoor Stadium here on Thursday. The championship was inaugurated by Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Bimal Borah in presence of several sports organizer including the secretary of the Assam Olympic Association Lakhya Konwar, treasurer Tapan Das, Life time chairman of Yoga Federation of India Ashok Kumar Agarwal and treasurer Raman Kumar. Around 350 players from different parts of the state are participating in the meet.
