GUWAHATI: River Rine Club thrashed Santipur Athletics Club by 8 wickets in a Guwahati leg match of the Assam Premier Club Cricket Championship at the Nehru Stadium here today. Elected to bat, Santipur were bowled out 86 in 28.1 overs due to two good spells from Amit Das (3-17) and Debashish Kashyap (3-28). Sayan Ansari (36, 4X4) fought a lone battle for Santipur. River Rine took 19 overs to score the winning runs, losing 2 wickets. Kunal Das and Pratap Das remained not out on 35 (4X5) and 34 (4X5) runs respectively.
